Captivelight Animal Activity Licence<\/strong> \u2013 AAL 75185<\/p>\n

A chance to photograph some small things with your Macro Lens. This day is all about trying to get up close and personal with a variety of critters using your Macro Lens and our lighting equipment. Using our lighting allows you to choose between shooting wide open for maximum background blur or shooting very small apertures to maximise depth of field. The choice is yours!<\/p>\n

Small group numbers mean that you get plenty of time with each subject whilst retaining a group atmosphere to bounce ideas around.<\/p>\n

The day will start at 10 AM with a safety talk followed by the animals being photographed individually on props. An experienced photographer is always on hand to help you get the most from your day should you need any help or advice. There is a lunch break at Midday for one hour, during which time you are welcome to go and watch (with your camera!) the Liberty’s Centre Flying show which usually starts at Midday. The day will end at around 3 PM.<\/p>\n

What you will need:<\/strong> You will need a camera that can be used in manual exposure mode where you can set the Shutter Speed, ISO, and Aperture on the camera. Most DSLR cameras and Mirrorless System Cameras can do this and you will be expected to know how to change these settings. You will need plenty of battery power and memory cards. We would suggest that a dedicated Macro lens of around 100 mm is the best lens for these days as some of the animals can be quite small.<\/p>\n

What we supply:<\/strong> We supply all the animals, props, all the flash equipment including triggers as well as any other equipment that we might use during the session. Tea and Coffee is available from the Liberty’s Centre Caf\u00e9 as well as Toilet Facilities. There are standard 240v plug sockets available in the studio should you need to plug in a charger during the day.<\/p>\n

Our Macro Magic Workshops cost \u00a3100 per photographer with a maximum of 6 photographers per session.
\nPrivate Weekend Workshops are available for small groups.<\/p>\n
